With a total area of 26 hectares, the Elbe Dam is one of the largest and, according to many, the most beautiful standing district with a trout regime in the Czech Republic. Due to its location in the heart of the protected area of the Krkonoše National Park, with clean and cold water from the Elbe all year round, the Elbe Dam is a natural habitat for the life of native salmonid fish. The combination of the beautiful surrounding landscape, the natural occurrence of brown trout and grayling, as well as the frequent use of rainbow trout and char in market and trophy sizes make fishing at the Elbe Dam a very exclusive experience. Try hunting from a bellyboat on a tributary, when the sun rises over the mountains and around you are on the calm surface making wheels of collecting fish and you will never forget this morning.
Fishing permits are issued by Mr. Milan Pavlík, tel .: (+420) 603 900 792 / personal collection in the gamekeeper's lodge at Labská č.p. 30 (intersection above Clarion Hotel, direction Rovinka)
