Pramen Labe represents one of the most fundamental natural phenomena of the Czech part of the Krkonoše Mountains. This symbolic beginning of one of Europe's largest rivers is located on the Labská louka at an altitude of 1,387 m above sea level. The actual source, hidden in bogs, is inaccessible to the public for reasons of nature protection, which is why a stone ring symbolizing the source of the river Labe was built here. The attraction of the place is enhanced by a stone wall with colorful symbols of the 26 important cities through which the river flows on its way to the sea. Thanks to its uniqueness and beautiful surroundings, Pramen Labe is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the Krkonoše Mountains.
