Crossing the well-known path of Czech-Polish friendship.

The red-marked tourist route follows the Czech-Polish border and runs 28 km from Tvarožník to Pomezní bouda. Unlike the Polish part of the Krkonoše Mountains, where entrance to the National Park is subject to a fee, the Czech-Polish friendship route is not subject to a fee.

Right behind Peter's shed, you can climb to the Maiden's and Man's stones. The views but worth it!

Granitic rocks, technically called tories, were formed during the Mesozoic and Tertiary periods. As a result of the frost, the granite massif cracked into smaller blocks, which, thanks to weathering and cooling, got their current rounded shape.

From the Černé sedlo signpost, descend to Sněžné jama and continue along the yellow marked path to the U Labské bouda signpost.

The snow pits were created by the action of glaciers, after which two glacial lakes remained as a memory at the bottom of the boilers, along with botanical rarities scattered on their walls. The natural formation of the Snow Caves, which is an attraction not only for tourists but also for photographers, can be easily recognized thanks to the Wawel transmitter, which previously served as a tourist hut.

The final part of the route will take you through Martinova and Medvědí Bouda, Dívčí Lávky, past Myslivna back to the city center, where the route ends at the lower station of the Medvědín cable car.

Martin's shed

An ideal place to stop, with captivating views of the region, it is one of the oldest in the Giant Mountains. Both the shed itself and especially its surroundings have played in several famous films. You can find photos of some of them in the interior of the shed.

Bear hut

It was established at the beginning of the 19th century and from its beginning, in addition to housing, it also offered accommodation. Its form has not changed much from the original one, and that is the goal of the current sensitive reconstruction of the shed.
