If you like walks in the beauty of pure nature, take the path from the city along the Elbe River (řeka Labe) through the forest to the almost perfect glacial valley, the Elbe Mine (Labský důl). You will learn the difference between a moray and a moraine, see many water wonders from emerald pools to small waterfalls, views of the falling waters of the Pančava and Elbe waterfalls, and if you are attentive, even a real Celtic Druid cauldron. The path is a pleasant choice for families with strollers and children, morning joggers or just to escape and get lost in the mysterious forest corners of Špindlerův Mlýn.
Start in the center of Špindlerův Mlýn
The route starts at the white arched bridge, the symbol of the city.

Monitoring the flow of the river Labe
Proceed upstream towards the Medvědín cable car, which promises beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, and continue along the Labe River.
The log cabin of the KRNAP administration and the confluence of the rivers
On your walk, visit the Krkonoše National Park administration cabin to learn more about the conservation of this unique natural area, and don't forget to stop at the confluence of the Bílé Labe and Labe rivers.
Passage through Labský důl
Discover the Labské kaskády, the Malý Labský vodopád waterfall and the Pudlavský waterfall on the way through the valley. At the Pudlavský waterfall, the paved road ends and continues along a picturesque mountain path to the Labská bouda.

Return to the center of Špindlerův Mlýn
At the end of the valley you turn around, the walk ends again in the city center, where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest in one of the local restaurants or cafes.
